2018 Sportsmobile Sprinter 4x4 Dually conversion, 170wb, wiht an Alu-cab roof top tent! - $148,000
Sleeps 5
This was our second Sportsmobile Sprinter conversion and we spent a lot of time and money to get this one just right. Everything has been upkeep and is in excellent condition. There’s a ton of details in the build that make this rig functional for short trips or long haul remote travel, we’ve designed every detail thinking about the inevitable tradeoffs and weighting function first. It was also important to us to consider the feel of the rig and the living experience while living in the van. The interior is functional and unique. Sportsmobile knows how to build their interiors to last, this one is super solid, and well set up for a range of adventures.
The van is in Marshall California (94940), but can be arranged to be shown in Sausalito CA.

Agile Offroad suspension upgrade

(many more features in the full list below)
Sleeping: Rear dinette converts to a huge bed (almost a king). We have a bed to convert the front cab seats into a single bed (small adult or child), and the Alu-Cab roof top tent (added in 2020) can sleep two, is wired to the van's power and has a light and usb power.
Cooking: For the kitchen we use a portable jet boil stove (a great quality propane stove that we can use to cook outdoors or indoors), there is an Isotherm 3.5 cf fridge, well designed food storage cabinets, and a solid walnut countertop with flip up for additional counter space, and side wall. There is a cabinet for a microwave that we have removed and we’ve customized this cabinet for laptops and technology charging.
Suspension & Tires: An important upgrade is the Agile Offroad suspension, which is a major improvement over the stock Sprinter suspension which we felt was totally unacceptable for a build of this size and weight. Agile Offroad suspension upgrade:
Model/Mileage: This is a 2018 Sportsmobile model and delivery but the van is a 2017 Diesel 4x4 Sprinter model. It is one of the last Sprinter vans to be manufactured in Germany, before they moved production to the US. 68,000 miles - mostly long haul highway miles (3 trips to Alaska). We have used the van almost exclusively in the summer months, it's not been used for for winter travel or for any 4x4 excursions. 100% of the maintenance has been done at SF Mercedes dealer. We get between 13-14.5 mpg.
Interior: Custom designed Sportsmobile interior with sunbrella fabrics on the seats, walls, and headliner, bathroom (composting toilet), shower, seatbelts for 6, Espar diesel furnace/hot water heater. Custom loncoin flooring, super durable and always looks pretty clean.
Power: 200w Solar system, and inverter.
Exterior: Aluminess rack, with ladder, rear bumper and boxes, with 1-up bike racks (2). Solar panels are mounted on top of Alu-Cab tent so there is still room for more storage hanging our on the roof.
Known Defects: There is a minor dent (shown in the video and a photo below) on the rear passenger side lower back area, and a smaller dent on the upper rear back door. Both from very slow speed backing up errors. There is no damage to the paint from the dents.
